Hello everyone, my name is Wayne Thibodeau and I am the Senior Director of Career Services reporting to the Division of Student Affairs & Diversity.
I oversee the campus-wide Career Services Team focused on career-readiness skills, preparing students for internships, future jobs upon graduation and beyond, and connecting students to industry prospects. Our team uses first destination outcomes upon graduation along with student engagement data in our recruitment tool called Handshake to assess the impact and learning of students on their career journey. By participating in the Data Literacy Institute, I will better understand how to capitalize on using data to tell new stories tied to student success as well as using data more effectively for decision making as a team.
